🔧 Step-by-Step Installation Process

Pre-Installation Preparation

Installation शुरू करने से पहले ये important steps follow करें:

• Turn off your “Internet Connection
• Antivirus को Temporarily Disable करे (installation के दौरान conflicts avoid करने के लिए) 
• Turn off “Windows Defender” real-time protection
• To do so in Windows, go to “Start Menu” and search “Windows Defender” or “Defender
• When the installation is completed, you can “Turn On Everything
• Windows Updates install कर लें (pending updates नहीं होने चाहिए)
• Disk Cleanup run करें (जगह बनाने के लिए)
• Administrator Rights ensure करें

• Step 1: Block the internet connection and turn on .NET. Features.

• Step 2: Open Solid Squad, then open "SolidWorks FlexNet Server."

• Step 3: Run "sw2021_network_serials_licensing.reg" and confirm to add info into Windows Registry.

• Step 4: Copy the folder "SolidWorks Flexnet Server" to C:, and run as administrator.

                "SolidWorks Flexnet Server\server_install.bat" 

                  and wait until the new service

                 "SolidWorks Flexnet Server" will be installed and started.

• Step 5: Install SolidWorks 2021 (including PDM Client if required). DO NOT install a Solid Network License Server (SNL)! . When asked about the License Server definition input: 25734@localhost.

• Step 6: After the end of setup, overwrite the original SolidWorks 2020 program folders (if they exist) with cracked ones from the folders "Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp" and "Program Files (x86)."

• Step7:- Run "SolidSQUADLoaderEnabler.reg" from "SolidWorks Felxnet Sever" and confirm to add info into Windows Registry.

• Step 8: REBOOT COMPUTER!

• Step 9:- Enjoy.

⚠️ Important: Installation से पहले अपने important files का backup ज़रूर लें!

Install .NET Framework

SolidWorks को .NET Framework 4.7 या higher चाहिए:

• Windows Settings → Apps → Optional Features → Add a Feature
• .NET Framework 4.8 search करें और install करें
• या Microsoft website से direct download करें
• Installation के बाद restart करें

💡 Windows 10/11 में usually pre-installed होता है, but verify कर लें!

Download SolidWorks 2021 Files

अपने license type के अनुसार download करें:

• Student Edition: MySolidWorks portal से download करें (college email से login)
• Trial: Email में मिला download link use करें
• Commercial: Customer Portal से ISO file download करें
• File size: लगभग 15-18 GB (full installation)
• Download time: 2-4 hours (internet speed पर depend)

Mount ISO File या Extract Archive

Downloaded file को accessible बनाएं:

• अगर ISO file है:
  • Right-click on ISO → Mount (Windows 10/11 में built-in)
  • या 7-Zip/WinRAR से extract करें
  • Virtual drive बन जाएगी (जैसे D: या E:)
• अगर ZIP/RAR file है:
  • WinRAR या 7-Zip से extract करें
  • Dedicated folder में extract करें (जैसे C:\SolidWorks2021)

Run Setup.exe as Administrator

Installation wizard को launch करें:

• Mounted drive या extracted folder open करें
• setup.exe file ढूंढें (usually root folder में होती है)
• Right-click → Run as Administrator select करें
• UAC prompt में Yes click करें
• Installation wizard load होने में 1-2 minutes लग सकते हैं

⚠️ Administrator rights बिना installation fail हो सकती है!

Enter Serial Number / Select License Type

अपने license के अनुसार proceed करें:

• Student Edition:
  • "Student Edition" option select करें
  • College email ID से verify करें
  • Automatic activation होगी
• Trial Version:
  • "Try SolidWorks" select करें
  • Email में मिला trial code enter करें
  • 30 days activate होगा
• Commercial License:
  • 25-character serial number enter करें
  • Format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
  • Purchase email में मिला होगा

Select Installation Type

दो main options होंगे:

• Individual Installation (Recommended):
  • Single PC के लिए

Select Installation Location

Installation path choose करें:

• Default Location: C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\
• Custom Location: अगर C drive में space कम है
  • दूसरी drive select कर सकते हैं (D:, E:, etc.)
  • लेकिन SSD में install करना best है (faster loading)
• कम से कम 25GB free space ensure करें

Start Installation & Wait

अब actual installation शुरू होगी:

• Install button click करें
• Progress bar दिखेगा
• समय लगेगा: 30-60 minutes (system speed पर depend)
• Multiple components एक-एक करके install होंगे
• बीच में laptop को sleep mode में न जाने दें
• Power cable लगा रखें (laptop users)

☕ Patience रखें! Installation में time लगता है। इस दौरान आप कुछ और काम कर सकते हैं, लेकिन PC को disturb न करें।

Product Activation

Installation complete होने के बाद activation:

• Student Edition: Automatic activate हो जाएगा
• Trial: Email verification के बाद active
• Commercial:
  • Online activation (recommended - 2 minutes में हो जाएगा)
  • या Email activation (offline systems के लिए)
  • License server से connect होगा

First Launch & Configuration

Installation complete! अब पहली बार launch करें:

• Desktop पर SolidWorks 2021 icon होगा
• Double-click करके open करें
• पहली बार load होने में 2-3 minutes लगेंगे
• "Welcome to SolidWorks" screen आएगी
• Quick tutorials का option होगा (optional)
• License agreement accept करें
• Basic settings configure करें (units, templates, etc.)

🔧 Common Installation Problems & Solutions

अगर Installation में Problem आए...

❌ Problem: ".NET Framework installation failed"

Solution:

• Windows Update run करें और pending updates install करें
• Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool download करके run करें
• Manual installation: dotnet.microsoft.com से download करें
• System restart करके फिर से try करें

❌ Problem: "Installation Manager has stopped working"

Solution:

• Antivirus को completely disable करें
• Windows Defender real-time protection turn off करें
• Downloaded files को re-extract करें (corruption हो सकता है)
• Temporary files clean करें (Disk Cleanup tool use करें)
• Administrator mode में run करें

❌ Problem: "Serial number not valid" या "Activation failed"

Solution:

• Serial number carefully re-check करें (कोई typo तो नहीं)
• Internet connection stable होना चाहिए
• Firewall SolidWorks को block तो नहीं कर रहा?
• Date & Time settings correct हों
• अगर student edition है तो college email से verify हुआ है या नहीं check करें

❌ Problem: "Not enough disk space"

Solution:

• कम से कम 30GB free space ensure करें (installation + working space)
• Disk Cleanup tool run करें
• Temp files delete करें (%temp% folder)
• Recycle Bin empty करें
• दूसरी drive में install करने का option चुनें

❌ Problem: "Graphics driver error" या display issues

Solution:

• Latest graphics drivers install करें (NVIDIA/AMD website से)
• SolidWorks certified graphics card list check करें
• Integrated graphics को disable करके dedicated graphics use करें
• Graphics settings में "Software OpenGL" enable कर सकते हैं (temporary fix)

❌ Problem: Installation बहुत slow है या hang हो गया

Solution:

• Patience रखें - कभी-कभी 5-10 minutes तक एक step पर रुक सकता है
• Background programs close कर दें (especially antivirus)
• Task Manager check करें - CPU usage 100% तो installation चल रही है
• अगर 30+ minutes से truly hang है तो restart करके फिर से try करें

✅ Installation के बाद क्या करें?

1️⃣ Graphics Card Settings Optimize करें

• Tools → Options → Performance → Graphics Card button click करें
